Quiet launch, great for beginners. I would recommend wearing watershoes for launching and if you cannot carry your kayak or paddleboard on your own bring something to help. The launch is a bit of a walk from the parking lot. Nice bathroom and changing areas as well as nicely paved walking trails although they are short. Dolphins greeted us at the launch when we arrived, we also saw a ton of fish and birds while paddling the mosquito lagoon paddle trail (marked with signs).

Great small park,1 shelter w/6-8 picnic tables, really clean bathroom for me,and a small trail that takes you out to a boardwalk, with a park bench at the end. A really special small intimate spot for you and your significant other. Watch a sunset,or a sunrise, next to the Indian River Lagoon. Good kayaking spot,,birdwatching,or enjoying a great natural view. Enjoy!

One of my favorite places to meditate.... A nice relaxing place to walk, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy the Back Lagoon. If you are very blessed during your visit, you may just get to see a few dolphin or Manatee! But you are sure to see some fish jumping and some beautiful birds gliding effortlessly through the beautiful sky! The sunsets are amazing...as is the relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking to experience a relaxing environment, Indian River Lagoon can't be beat!

Nice little park. Has a circular side walk through the woods and a long trail to the river where there is a large dock with a pinic bench at the end. Be a great place to fish. The pearl never seems busy. There can be hours with no one else thare. It is small though.

Great spot to view wildlife and fish. We saw a dolphin, rock crabs, needlefish, grunt fish, mangrove snapper and more.
